Charmie, hope you don't mind I started this.
A crazy few weeks ... I guess nothing new or exciting in my life. Next week is the last week of my lunch catering - I will be said to see them go, but also miss them in a way. It has been a lot of fun. I have 2 small weddings to cater this month and 1 in Nov, but hope to sneak away for a quick trip up to the mountains to see the leaves. Otherwise, sos for me. Hopefully, Fall will come soon, but so far, NOT too much in the way of Fall here. I do envy those who are getting a taste of it.

Hi menu friends!!! How is everyone this fine week? We've finally hit Fall here in the states, but in so cali, it only felt like fall for one day. We're back over 100 for the weekend. Bleh!! But I've been using the oven any way. I'm tired of waiting!!!!!!
Today is a great day!!! I'm gonna be on the radio! A local station has a Let's Dine Out show, and they've asked me to be their featured foodie! They'll be asking me about restaurants I like and don't like. And about my life as a foodie. The show is on for 2 hours, and they said I can pipe in about anything during that time, in addition to the feature. So excited!!
I got up early and made some pumpkin scones to take and share with the radio guys.
Trying out some new recipes this week that will be for my annual hosting of our bunco group. They like me to make soups, so I'm gonna try a new one. And a dessert (I don't make these regularly so my family will be pleased!)
Here's my menu:
Saturday - radio interview!! They'll serve me lunch at the station, and just some paninis for dinner.
Sunday - Best Ever Banana Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting, Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup, and a Garden Lasagna.
Monday - Spicy Kielbasa Pasta!, salad and bread
Tuesday - Cherry Cola Roast (Pork or Beef), mashed potatoes, green beans
Wednesday - Crock Pot Chicken W/ Black Beans and Cream Cheese...yum!, with salad, rice and tortillas
Thursday - Busy Night Microwave Wet Burritos, rice and beans
Friday - open for stretch room
