What do you give her at home? I am sure that many of those things would be suitable for school.

Also, this thread on bento lunches might be helpful. Just eliminate the egg dishes, but there is a whole lot more to chose from, http://www.food.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=131883

You may want to check with the school, as many restrict peanut butter or other products because of children's allergies. That causes further issues. Hard I know but very young children particularly have a hard time understanding food allergies.

My daughter always head out to school with a bottle of chilled water, one or two pieces of fruit, a muesli bar or savoury biscuits and a sandwich.

My youngest daughter's school is nut free. For sandwiches we like to have cheese, vegemite(though this is an Aussie taste), nut-free 'peanut' butter, cream cheese and finely grated carrot, ham, chicken and avocado (mashed with a little lemon juice) or salad and cheese, canned tuna and mayo.

My youngest likes to have a bread roll with sliced cucumber and tomato

Me eldest likes to take a salad box- some sandwich/deli meat or cold chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese, capsicum, grapes, olives.

Left-over meat/chicken burger pattie makes a good sandwich (I'm assuming that you would make yours egg-free)

We add in an ice-brick to the lunchpack when we include cheese or meats.
