We are all in this fight against cancer together. It is more than knowing cancer exists - it is supporting and encouraging those who have been touched by cancer. Think Pink recipe tag event is your chance to get involved here on Food.com!

We are not only celebrating the lives of those touched by Breast Cancer but those whose lives have been affected by ANY cancer! Sharing our stories and our tributes is a way to keep the memories alive and also helps us heal on during our current journeys. We believe that awareness is one of the keys to a cure and early detection can be the answer to a cure.

Your hosts for this special October event are weekend cooker and breezermom.

Last tags must be tagged by October 31st

We ask that you complete your tags within two weeks from the date you tagged.

It is easy to play!!! Select any recipe on Zaar that has a main pink ingredient listed or lists pink in the title name of the recipe. You may choose any food or beverage recipe. Tag as many as you think you can reasonably complete. We would appreciate your tagging prior to completing the recipe to make our updates easier. We are not going to be the pink police but please try to be reasonable with the ingredient choices as this is not a competition as to how many recipes you can find but to truly take time to recognize how cancer affects us all in some form.

If anyone has PINK recipes that would like me to place in a cookbook at the start of the thread, let me know and I'll add them! Please sort through the books offered to make sure the recipes you want added aren't already there!
