It is so new it's not even in the stores or online yet but if you call NewMetro: 800-624-1526, and ask for the New Roseā„¢ Line you can place orders using a credit card.

Alternatively, you can wait until October when it will be available in stores and on line around the country. Here's a preview of the line

    Beater Blade/Scraper (I LOVE this!):

    Zest n'Est:

Mixer Mate (This rose bowl is the ideal ergonomic shape for using a handheld electric beater or whisk. It whips cream at record speed with no need to chill the bowl or beaters.):

    Juice Lab:

Interesting site - I really like the caramel pan wonder when it'll be out - I didn't see any prices.

Rose Levy wrote the Cake Bible, and I am pretty sure that book is my mom's prized possession. Like, in a fire... the Cake Bible would be her "one item". icon_wink.gif
Excellent recipes, though, no doubt about that!

I don't know that there is anything different about her KA scraper paddle other than it being in her color. I do like the idea of the citrus zest being trapped in the little case, and the caramel pot would be SO nice. None of my pots, except the big water bath canner, is tall enough for my stupid candy thermometer. This one looks like it was built with that in mind.
Plus, when I make caramel corn and get to the part where I stir in the baking soda, that stuff puffs up like giant billowing clouds and almost always overflows! icon_rolleyes.gif

I have a KA "wiper" blade and it goes all the way round and to me looks just like this one. I love it and use it often. For some reason I do have trouble getting it off the machine though - so that's a pain.

The Kitchenaid brand ones are all one-sided rubber only. They run between $35-$50 each, depending on mixer model. But you can buy other brands that fit the KA that have two-sided rubber scrapers for under $20. I wonder how much Rose's paddle will be?
