9/21/2012:
I went to use the Recipe Sifter function and found it not working properly. It worked for me in the past. Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks for the input.

If you are working IE, there is some sort of problem that cropped up recently and is still plaguing us. If you can, switch to Firefox or Chrome or Safari - they are working normally - at least FF did for me last night.

If you are not using IE, would you please provide specific details on what isn't working for you with the sifter? This will help us with testing.
Thanks!

Hello Mary, I do use Internet Explorer. Hopefully the glitch will be corrected soon.

Yep fredbull1116, we hope the team is able to correct the problem as well. In the meantime, you can try to use another browser such as Firefox or Chrome to use the sifter. Thanks for your patience!

I use Chrome and unless I've lost my mind, the recipe sifter has changed so that you can't make a bunch of selections at once, now you have to narrow search, wait for the reload, then narrow again, wait for reload, narrow again. Can you please provide a way to select multiple things at once, or if it's moved, where is it???

I found someone else having the same problem, and found the answer, hover over top recipes tab until the drop down opens, then go to recipe sifter button.

Ok I went over to the recipe sifter in Chrome and it worked correctly for me. I went to Course, then picked Main Dishes, then Curries.
I went back to the first column picked Cuisine, picked Indian.
I went back to the first column, picked Main Ingredient, then Meat, then Chicken.
Each selection ended up in the column to the far right, reducing the number of relevant recipes each time.
You don't have to use the narrow search. If you do something like search :"chicken curry" in the search bar, once you get your results you can to go the recipe sifter (just hover over the top recipes tab and then click the recipe sifter) and then go through you search as you want.

Thanks for the reply. I missed the old sifter, good to know it hasn't gone away, it's just hiding, this helps me immensely, and hopefully others reading the topic.

This looks like yet another cry out to return the sifter to a logical place where people can easily find it.
