I may be in the wrong forum.....but .... I think a long time ago someone gave a recipe for a healthy body cleanse.
Does anyone remember that? Nothing comes up as a recipe, so thought it might just have been in a discussion. Seems it had lemon juice, maybe vinegar, and honey. That's all I can remember.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Donna thanks for dropping by. I do not know of one being posted while I have been around, but I am scared to death of them. I used a Jullian Michaels total body cleanse a few years ago, OK I hadn't gotten to the entire thing, I had just taken the stuff you did the first week, it was a couple of three weeks that you did this. Anyway, not thinking about doing it I had my routine labs done, which I do every three months, my liver profile had skyrocketed, the doctor called me and wanted to know what was wrong and wanted me to go in the next day and have hepatitis testing done and then repeat the test in 3 days I think it was. Went in three days, liver profile was still elevated. I was scared to death because I had cooked for around 300 people in the previous two weeks and knew if I had hepatitis everyone in our little church and most in our small town were going to have to be treated. I kept on trying to figure out why the profile had been so high and came to the conclusion that it may be that cleanse I was doing. Call the doctor, he told me to quit them, bring him the information on it, etc. Two weeks later my profile was normal again. I will never do another one because that scared me so.

I will ask around an see if anyone remembers this for you.

Thanks for dropping by and come back any time.

I'm so with you.....getting a scare like that must have really upset you.

I saw this discussion somewhere on Zaar (at the time), but I didn't try it.
It just seemed to be more than I wanted to deal with. But today my son, who suffers from exema and skin problems, was thinking of trying one of the ones on the market.

I just thought I would ask around, and see if I could find any information about this procedure.

Like I said, I could only think of this forum to ask such a question. Of course, that's not to say I shouldn't be looking for some healthier eating ideas for myself...... icon_rolleyes.gif !

Thanks for your feedback.........I think I might just ask him to talk to his Dr. about doing something like this.

Donna, I don't want to be Debbie Downer but I think talking to the doctor would be much better. My experience scared me to death.

Oh thank you.....this is exactly the list of recipes that I saw. (Sure glad to know that I didn't dream it) !
The first two are the ones I remember, and they certainly sound easy and safe enough. I will tell my son, and he can decide if he wants to try them.

    Thanks again duonyte,
    Donna
