Well, first I'm going to drink a bottle of wine. Yes, me. Entire bottle. Maybe. My dermatologist had to freeze seven spots on my face. I don't like pain killers because I like wine:) or is it whine?! Anyway, tomorrow I need to work some and Sunday we're having some friends over for shooting clays, fishing in the pond followed by a dinner of boiled shrimp and crawfish, fried fish we catch, French potato salad, hushpuppies and cold slaw. Yum!

How about you? What are you doing this weekend?

These days I seldom revisit a book since there are so many new ones I want to read. The only one that comes to mind is "To Kill A Mockingbird"; I have always adored that book and would happily read it again.

Do you have a library card?

What would make for dinner for an unexpected guest, when you'd been working all day and had to rely on your pantry/fridge?

Well I usually always have stuff on hand to make tacos. Or grilled cheese sandwiches and homemade soup. Or cream peas, baked taters, chicken and salad or quiche, fruit salad and cheese biscuits. It would depend on who it was as to what I choose to make.

What one entree do you find yourself cooking most often?

TRINKETS...I hope that bottle of wine did the trick!

I fell asleep before consuming the entire bottle! HA. I would not make a good drunk!

I always have a roasted chicken as my fallback-almost-always entree.

In June. We are going to Denali, Ketchican, Sitka and I don't know where else. Dogsledding, an amphibious boat tour, cooking classes on the boat (it is my first cruise) such fun planned, and believe it or not, all on my friends dime! WOW icon_eek.gif

I have lived so many different places, I truly don't know which to call home, but I would like to go back to Hawaii. We lived there for four years.

I'd love to go to Scotland, what places do you recommend?

    sounds marvellous, pammyowl!!!

Scotland, all depends on how long you have. With a few weeks I'd recommend, everywhere icon_smile.gif Fly into Glasgow, go up the West Coast, visiting the Highlands and Islands on your way, all the way up to John O'Groats, back down via Inverness and The Spey Valley, (this is mostly for Loch Ness and also the distilleries), cut across and travel down the East Coast, culminating in Edinburgh for a day or so.

with just a few days, rather base yourself in Edinburgh, travel to Pitlochry, visit Loch Lomond, go up to the Spey Valley and up as far as Inverness, back down to Edinburgh.

What would you recommend visitors see in your area of the world?

Minnesota has a lot to offer. In fact, it was determined to have the third happiest people in the country, after Hawaii and Colorado. It depends on what you like, Minneapolis/St. Paul both have wonderful museums, many 5 star hotels and restaurants, also great theaters. Great shopping, too.
If you prefer the wilderness, we have the Boundary Waters Canoe Area on the border of Canada, and we have some of the best fishing around. The Land of 10,000 lake is on our licence plates!

Do you consider yourself an outdoorsy type of person?
