no, I just avoid what doesnt work for me (plants periodically creep up on me  a good afternoons gardening IS going to take its toll  )

I used to, but my back can't take much of it anymore so I have learned to just enjoy the labors of others!
Do you alwys have the same meal every Christmas or do you like to change it up a bit?

The same main dish, Swedish Meatballs, my DH's special mashed potatoes but the veggies and dessert I do switch up. Oh, and my grandma's Butterhorn rolls every year. She passed away this year so they will be especially poignant.

we tend to stick to much the same dishes, gammon, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, etc
pammy, your Mom's Christmas Swedish Meatballs looks fab, I have saved it and will be trying it soon!!!
Do you cook and freeze, in advance, for these big festive meals?

Not generally, except for those meatballs, and that is mainly because the recipe makes so many meatballs, so it is time consuming.

I have several that mean a lot but probably one of my favourites is a red gilt bird with a red feathery tail, its just so cute!!!

I use the same decorations from year to year, but add new ones every year, too.

Usually the 2nd week in January, after Epiphany.
