Many moons ago, I took a year's course in it but unfortunately, it takes money to decorate. I think my house looks nicely decorated for not being able to sink good money in it.
If someone gave you $1,000.00 to replace anything in your home, what would it be?

Yes, the oaken wall unit in our living room. My DH planned it and it's hand made by a carpenter from oak wood that we brought over here from the Black Forest. We dressed and oiled every single piece of it ourselves (DH, FIL and me).

The next project I have planned is getting us all out the door this am. Just kidding! Umm, as far as a plan for the house I'm going to say clean the garage and then the barn. This time everything goes! I am not saving anything except seasonal items.
