Do you consider yourself a good home decorator?

Many moons ago, I took a year's course in it but unfortunately, it takes money to decorate. I think my house looks nicely decorated for not being able to sink good money in it.

If someone gave you $1,000.00 to replace anything in your home, what would it be?
    Tue Sep 18, 2012 9:48 pm Groupie
I would replace some light fixtures/ceiling fans

So, what piece of furniture would you replace in your home if it was free to you?

I'd get rid of the family room loveseat and get a lift chair recliner for my mom.

Do you have a favorite piece of furniture in your home?

Yes, the oaken wall unit in our living room. My DH planned it and it's hand made by a carpenter from oak wood that we brought over here from the Black Forest. We dressed and oiled every single piece of it ourselves (DH, FIL and me).

Have you ever repapered a wall yourself?

Yes, I have done a fair amount of wallpapering.

What is the next project that you have planned?
    Wed Sep 19, 2012 7:53 am Groupie
The next project I have planned is getting us all out the door this am. Just kidding! Umm, as far as a plan for the house I'm going to say clean the garage and then the barn. This time everything goes! I am not saving anything except seasonal items.

What is your favorite breakfast you don't have to prepare?
