Ribs on the grill. Cooked right on the grill in beer, onions, and garlic, covered with foil.
Then finished on the grill. Used a sauce I got from the local farmers market. It is an expensive sauce ... but a nice treat now and then. It has apple, and roasted peppers and it is fantastic.

The tomatoes, Just slices topped with mozzarella and Italian seasoning, grilled until melted. Topped with a balsamic reduction

Slaw ... just slaw; I had to use up some of my dressing, nothing special.

Th CSW, I have to admit my tomato looks a little space ship like. That mozz, melted so perfectly round. But, it was really ooey gooey, lol

I planned some balsamic onions and a different slaw recipe; but ... I hate to waste stuff, and I really had to use the tomatoes and the dressing for my slaw. So that sort of determined by menu.

I just hate throwing stuff out
But thx, it was good and ribs left, so great for lunch or another dinner. Maybe something in a soup or BBQ pork sandwich.

Oooh, your photos are great -- but what I LOVE is the last one!! Wish we had that tonight! Great pic, shows exactly what the food was about -- yummy!! icon_biggrin.gif

(I'm dying for grilled meat. But a short explanation: in South Africa a grill/BBQ is usually a wood-burning affair! This takes time and planning. We do have lots of alien trees which are slowly being eradicated because they slurp up water, so wood is not a problem. We DO use charcoal sometimes, some people DO use gas. But the real thing is wood coals ... And as we had such a wet winter our wood is still so damp, I can't get DH or myself fired up icon_wink.gif to start a decent fire ... icon_sad.gif )
