Hello and WELCOME to Photo Tag!
Your host here is breezermom.
This is a recipe tag game that is specifically designed for posting pictures to recipes that do not currently have photos. We think that most of us really enjoy seeing photos on recipes and this is a great way to get them on your own recipes as well as other chefs! Before some of you jump to another screen, this game is not about camera skills or magazine quality photos. A lot of us are still learning - please don't be shy or afraid to play. Jump in, give it your best shot (pun intended), and have fun with us!!
REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY PHOTO TAG
1. You must be a registered member of Recipezaar
2. You must have and maintain a minimum of 10 unphotographed Recipes
HOW TO PLAY
1. Find out who is IT by going to the final page of this thread - find the most recent message declaring who is currently IT.
2. Tag an unphotographed recipe from the chef who is IT.
*Please note that once a recipe has been tagged it is out of play and may not be tagged again.
3. Make, photograph and review that recipe within two weeks from the date of your tag.
4. Report back to this thread to tell us that you've completed your tag so
we can update the Master Status List and add the recipe to the Photo Tag cookbook. If possible, please share a photo in the thread.
5. Recipes can only be tagged once in the games forum. Double tagging is not allowed. You can use a tag in the game forum in a
contest forum or at a forum (photo, diabetic), but not twice in the games forum
A LITTLE HELP PLEASE:
I tagged a recipe, but changed my mind - can I pick a different recipe?
Make a SUBSTITUTION. Yes - sometimes you tag a recipe and then later realize that you just won't be able to make it - either you are having significant ingredient issues or just don't have time for that particular recipe. Please select a different recipe from the same chef that you originally tagged - it still must be an unphotographed recipe. Then post a message to this thread asking for a substitution, using the standard recipe format above. Be aware that your substitution will still be due on the due date of the original tag.
I tagged a recipe, but can't meet the two week deadline. What do I do?
When you chose to tag someone’s recipe, you are committing
to making that recipe and reviewing it within 2 weeks (14 days). We realize life sometimes does get in the way of our cooking/tagging, so if you aren’t going to be able to meet the 2 week deadline, please ask us for a additional 2 week extension. Players will be put on the Restricted List once they have passed the 4 weeks (28 days) deadline, unless they have special circumstances. If you feel you have a special circumstance preventing you from completing a tag within 4 weeks, please contact the game host. Once on the Restricted List, you will no longer be able to participate in any of the games or events in the “Cooking Games with Friends Forum” until you have made and
reviewed any recipes that have you on that list. This is done in order to keep it fair for all players
in the games.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
In playing this game, you are implicitly agreeing to accept the necessity of a re-tag if you make a mistake and tag a recipe that is not eligible, or if you tag a recipe and then find you can't make it for any reason, or if you tag the wrong chef. This means that, for example, if by mistake you choose a recipe that has reviews, you agree to go ahead and choose another recipe by the same chef to replace the tag that is invalid. Another example: if you choose a recipe by Chef A when Chef B was the one who was currently due to be tagged, you agree to go back and choose a recipe by Chef B to replace your tag of Chef A. Also, if you choose a recipe that has already been tagged, you agree to go back and re-select a recipe by the chef you tagged.
This keeps the game from coming to a halt while people wait to see
what happens. In addition, if the mistake is not caught before follow-up tags occur, the re-tag rule helps avoid a snarl where a string
of people could find their tags invalidated because 1 person drops the ball in the middle of the process.
Exception: If you make a goof in your tag but correct or withdraw it before anybody else follows up by tagging you, then your tag is simply ignored and does not count as a mistag. Be aware, however, that other players are not required to wait around and see whether you're going to do this; at any time, if you haven't withdrawn, they can go ahead and tag you, because they know you have implicitly agreed to re-tag.)
24HR RULE:
If a player is IT for 24 hrs ANY of their recipes may be tagged including the ones that already have photo's. In addition, any player who is tagged 3 times with the 24 HR Rule will be required to add a minimum of 10 new qualifying (un-photographed) recipes before tagging again.[/b]

I made and reviewed Teriyaki Steak Sandwich With a Twist, #468458 by Baby Kato
LOL! The dog Acadia was all excited when she saw me put this on the floor for a more interesting background, but was disappointed when I picked it up again!

What a well trained dog! I wouldn't dare put anything on my floor! That is dog and cat territory. I do have to brag....they won't touch anything on the coffee table....they know that isn't theirs!
Beautiful photo, by the way! I bet it was delicious!

I knew I was safe as unfortunately Acadia the dog has such bad arthritis on her front left leg, that she can't get up unless I help her. She is 12 years old.

My black lab Buck was like that. His spine fused together, and he either had to stand, or lay down his last 2 years. And I had to help him do either...very tough. He was such a great dog, and had such a wonderful personality. But at 15 I could tell he was in too much pain and we put him to sleep. Loved that dog immensely. I've never cried so much in my life. My vet was wonderful....made a donation to the UF Vet school in his honor. He was a great, great dog!

Cadie, I thought that was your counter! I'd never take a pic of anything on my floor (two dogs and a cat and all 3 are very hairy ).
And thank ya hon.

I know it will be tough for us too when that time comes. Acadia was given to us by our children for our anniversary. We actually paid for her after the kids told us they would pay us back. Older daughter was in high schhol and younger was in middle school. After they fianced $500 out of the $1000 we let them off the hook. The kids are now grown and out of the house. We have a lot of great memories with her. She too is one of those once in a life time great dogs.

Is that a Golden, Acadia? We have one that is 12 & 1/2. She has started to get arthritis, too. Although, if I put any food on the floor - she would gobble it in an instant!
