I have received my swap package today. I am overwhelmed by all the wonderful little fall items Loula fit in that box! And she even translated a bunch of directions into English for me!

I am very rushed right now, as I have not started dinner and DS needs to eat ASAP! But I will be posting pictures either later tonight or tomorrow.

I'm glad you like it! I was going to make two different options, but I loved how this turned out so much that I just stuck with one.

If anyone would rather have a more "fall" themed banner I would be happy to make one for you icon_smile.gif

I usually do also but the last two weekends we have had family bdays and then I decided last Sunday I was going to cook made a wonderful dinner and then collapsed sure was good though my son really loved it. We have a cold front coming in tonight I am thinking making a pot of something tomorrow either homemade chicken dumplins or chicken and sausage gumbo not sure which one yet but thinking very hard about it. Cold day equals a big pot of something . My office has put in a request for my homemade chili so making that at the office monday yum yum.

Mmmm...sounds soo good. I miss cold weather. Most people think I'm crazy, but I can't wait to move out of the deep south and get away from this horrible heat!

I will not be making chicken and dumplings until January...if it's even cold enough then icon_smile.gif

    Hey there! wave.gif

I just asked this over in the PAC thread, but since it kinda fits our swaps topic as well, I thought Id ask here as well. Do you have a favourite pumpkin pie recipe? I have some squash and pumpkin sitting around and Id love to try a new recipe. Any suggestions?

This is the one I use, but I add a little extra of the spices. If you are using fresh pumpkin puree instead of canned you may need to use less milk also.

Loula, according to the tracking info your package left the US 5 days ago, but there is no more info after that. Hope it's almost to you!

Did you make any pumpkin dishes yet? A pie?

    Hey Jean,

thank you so much for sharing those two recipes with me. The Libby's one was recommend to me by others, too, so I think Ill make that one soon. Ive made a vegan pie based on this recipe (Easy Vegan Pumpkin Pudding or Pie Filling Uses Nasoya Tofu!) yesterday and loved it. yummy.gif

The parcel has not yet arrived, but since it said 5-7 days Im sure it will be here any day now. I am so excited! icon_biggrin.gif
