Do it if you ever have the chance.
Here's a pic of our unexpected take-off thanks to a gust of wind.

Peggy, I am very afraid of heights. I have gone Hot Air Ballooning and loved it. Two years ago I went Parasailing and had my legs wrapped around my Mums waist like a monkey the entire time. Paragliding is not likely in my future. icon_smile.gif

If you saw the muscles on Diego's arms, you wouldn't have worried.

Those would have to be some serious guns before I'd even considered it-odds are it still wouldn't happen, but I'm glad you had fun!!!

Okay, how about a wine tasting at the Nanni Winery in Cafayate, Argentina?
I tried their local white variety torrontés. Smells sweet, but tastes dry.

We're in Ushuaia, Argentina, the very far south of South America.
We've had some great adventures in Chile and Argentina, including a couple
of days in El Chalten near the Fitzroy Mountain Range. We walked up to
the lake and glacier there. It was so windy, one fellow thought he might fly!

We had Thanksgiving on a farm in Chile. Cooked over a wood fire and sat
around eating in our coats! It was cold.

Tomorrow we set out on a ship to the Antarctic—a 10-day adventure.

We're back from our amazing Antarctic expedition.
Here's a view of Paradise Bay on the Antarctic mainland.
