Yeah it looked incredible, if an egg pops it's a bit messy inside the oven but think of a steel can (this was before rip-top lids) and by the time it exploded it sprayed steel and glass everwhere. Apart from the immediate big hole behind and destruction of things immediately around there were two rooms with lots of little holes that would have needed pretty much complete plastering and painting.
Anyway they thought it was largely amusing after the event and he was glad to have insurance .

Group 2 One Cup Slice
I have made and reviewed Chef Buggsy Mate's " Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffins". A really delightful "sweet snack" !! I have frozen 6, which will be good for breakfast next week.
I had earlier prepared " Upside-Down Pizza Casserole" , which all the ingredients appealed. I SHOULD have expected that it would be salty, and have cut out much of salt from recipes, so did not think I could give a fair review. DH thought it was truly pizza-tasting, and all the ingredients were spot on. It made a HUGE casserole full, so would be a good family meal.

for Group 2 - One Cup Slice - and NurseJaney I have made Double Cheddar Cheese Potatoes - in fact I have made it twice - yesterday with red peppers and tonight I have made it for dinner using green peppers, so you can tell from this that we all really loved this dish.

Thank you, kate ! I'm so glad it was "comforting" food for your DD -- and hope she is feeling better today ! Both photos look very yummy -- and I have just frozen 2 gallon bags of red and green peppers from the garden ! Some will surely end up in this dish !

Hello all
I haven't forgotten my group mates in Group 4. I have made Kangaroo Curry
but haven't had a chance to post my review or photo yet. I have to say this dish made my whole house smell delicious. I will be making Chocolate Chip Cookies tomorrow and will post my reviews and photos this weekend.

We cannot get frozen scalloped potatoes so I just used par cooked tiny diced potatoes with skin on - worked out really well !

NJ, If you wouldn't mind posting that you felt the recipe was to salty now that you have cut salt out of your diet that would be fine. Maybe you can post some suggestions or changes you would make in order to make the recipe more palatable for those who restrict the amount of salt in their diets.
