They look wonderful! I barely can imagine how awful "healthy" food in the 1980s used to be when people who made organic food were regarded as freaks There definitely has been an improvement in healthy cooking, of which you are a splendid example

Thanks, Mia!!
I just found seaweed salad to be really good! Have you ever had it? It's so easy and so healthy, I ate two servings, (90 calories) and it was so good!! I normally hate, hate, sesame anything, but this was so good.
A lot of people say that you get it when you get Chinese food (I haven't - gotten this with Chinese food) so this was new to me!
I loved it!

Thus far I've only put the seaweed into my miso soup, but I just printed the recipe for trying It sounds great. And I love sesame anything

Good morning all. I was MIA yesterday. On Monday I took DH to the doctor with allergies. He was prescribed 2 meds. Yesterday morning he told he was having trouble swallowing. As it turned out both meds listed that symptom as a possible reaction. Back to the doctor. Well he ended up having as endoscopy yesterday afternoon to rule out any blockage. While his throat and esophagus were open he had some serious swelling. He is now taking Prednisone. What a day!
awalde, those muffins looks wonderful and Ms. Andi you have way outdone yourself.

I'm sorry about your DH. I hope the doctors will find the reason and the solution.
Do you have the med around you, or do you have to drive far away?
Take care!

Hi Mia! I just had some delcious leftovers of a no written recipe.
If I cook with recipe, bring the laptop in the kitchen, switch on fullscreen modus and I cook.
Now I hava a lot of apples, I will prepare an apple pie or a "Wehe".
I think Paula's way to prepare apple pie filling is a good idea. Especially with the "falling apples" before they turn bad.
If I have some more time I will prepare some as well.

Thanks much for your concern. He seems much better today. His BS was a little low but not to bad. The medical facilities are about 8 to 10 miles from us. I am really loving Hixson. It is a smaller town that is right next to a city.

Hi! It's really apples high season here!
One photo about our apple picking season. Our apple tree is very old (more than 50 year old) We will have to replace it (in 3-5 years?), but we don't know the name of that variety. I can keep these apples in the cellar until April! The apples are juicy and a little bit sour. Perfect for pies.
(@Andi, do you know these apples?)
Finally we celebrate the harvest with a delicious apple pie
Yesterday I spent hours canning. I made 16 jars!
Have a nice day!
