Gosh, I hate it when you don't get notifications; I often have to stop and try to remember "have I been there lately" and then out of the blue I'll get notified of a thread I'd forgotten about. But fortunatly - I seem to be getting mine lately - though with ei browser I can't post banners and had to download FF jusst for that purpose.

I've noticed sometimes when you haven't been in a thread for a while notifications drop off and then suddenly you will get one, biggest problem I have specially in the game threads is if I don't get a notifications and then go back and find they have posted a new thread also I also wonder if you have clicked a lot of threads for notification if they are maybe dropping some of them off.

Hmmm, I'll bet that does have something to do with it.

Vanilla Fudge has been completed. This recipe was beyond my cooking abilities *and* I do NOT like the photo!!! The fudge was crumbly and no doubt completely my fault! However I am obligated to post a photo so there you have it.

CG, was just reading some of the reviews which are very mix from outstanding to total flop. Sounds like the recipe requires a knowledge of candy making to make it work.

Can so understand why after such a trying recipe you were frustrated with your photo, but the photo itself is not bad it is more that the fudge came out grain and crumbly.

Kudos for taking on such a challenge!!

I knew that going in, too. I read all the reviews. I thought I may have
been able to pull it off-alas, no. Cook and learn. I think of this as
a learning experiment and not a failure. Candymaking isn't my forte.

Boy do I understand that, don't think I've ever made a decent fudge and I do love the stuff. Hmmmm,, maybe that's a good thing that I can't make it worth a darn. icon_rolleyes.gif

You are too funny, Bonnie. I made a recipe recently that had only 2 reviews. One 5 star and one one star. It tasted good, but came out a mess. But then again sometimes recipes don't deserve the low rating they have gotten!
