Pasta Carbonara

New recipe to be posted ... 'Almost classic Pasta Carbonara'
Bacon, pasta, parmesan, eggs, and cream ... yes cream.
Parsley to garnish

Yes, I crisp up the bacon, cool slightly (so far NO oil added, just the drippings); right to the bacon, I add the cream, just 1/4 cup to 1/2 lb pasta; 2 whole eggs, and 1/2 cup parm. Mix, toss is pasta and mix.
So easy. Garnish with pepper and parsley.

I actually made the pasta right in the microwave, in the bowl I served the pasta in. Talk about easy.









I think I have to post, because there isn't one that is quite the same; or I may of just missed it. But, it is a favorite and so easy.

Such a good thing I do not have to pick a photo as both have outstanding merits. The first one looks like it was taken form a magazine and the second one is sooo flavorful looking with the bacon and cheese right up front saying "you know you want me "
