I'm testing a blueberry bundt cake for possible posting here on the site but had a problem with the test run.
The blueberries all sank to the bottom. Why did this happen? Could it have been because I used partially frozen blueberries? Well, that is half truth. They were mostly frozen blueberries.
Perplexed!

Berries often sink in something like this. Some people recommend flouring the berries - hold back a spoonful and sprinkle over the berries - I have not had a lot of luck with that myself. I sometimes try layering the batter with the berries rather than mixing the berries into the batter.
