Hi sworange,
welcome to our forum! You seem to be a busy chef!
Usually, in the forums we don't post links to our blogs etc. Maybe place the link to your blog on your AM page so everybody who comes there can visit it.
Now, let's get August started

Hey all! How is your August going? We are busy as bumble bees here, I don't have a kitchen, (redo- getting ready for Mike/Jennifer wedding reception) and won't have any cooking (other then oatmeal in the micro) until later this month. It's amazing to see a whole 30 year old kitchen just torn apart and restarted! I am excited, and can hardly wait!
I hope you are well and happy!! Hugs to Mia and Paula!

Good morning my lovelies. Well a week later I now have only 1 house. With the pressure off maybe I can concentrate a little more on packing, cooking and spending time with you on-line friends.
I am participating in ZWT and have been making some wonderful recipes. Last night I made
Salsa Cruda / Pico De Gallo, #362382 by Deantini
Healthified Taco Salad, #379439 by smellyvegetarian

Hi Paula! It's great seeing you! You're almost to the finish line regarding moving and packing! At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
How is tour going? It looks like you've had a wonderful array of great foods and recipes!

Just made this recipe from tour, (I was checking out how twissis was ) and I noticed she made this soup. I am cleaning out the kitchen, so I happened to have lamb shanks, and a ton of fresh new potatoes, zucchini, and celery. Boy, this was great!

Great minds think alike. I was thinking of making this. I am clearing out the freezer and am down to 2 lamb shanks, 1 pork sirloin roast, a package a boneless chicken thighs and a few hamburger patties.

This has been a long process starting in March with our road trip/house hunting trips. I will be happy when we are in TN and unpacking our stuff.

Paula, you must be even more crazed with tour going on too! You are quite a gal!!
I think I am about to keel over from having my whole kitchen torn apart. Such things as just finding a spoon to stir my coffee is just an ordeal by itself

Hi Andi. It has been a crazy summer. My house is now a mess. The upstairs has boxes all over the place. The downstairs has pictures laying everywhere. I will be so glad when the move is over. I did make
Huevos a La Mexicana, #139213 by Elmotoo
My freezer is getting very bare.

Paula, you're an astonishing lady! I don't think I'd manage making and photographing such beautiful dishes during moving mess. Heck, I barely keep up with everything without moving
I've made some awesome dishes for the tour, no photos, but I'll share none the less:
Nif's Aussie Style Burger With the Lot for the gluten free challenge
Dienia B.'s Huevos Divorciados - highly recommendable! So easy to make but utterly yummy, and they look pretty, too. This was the first time we ever had tomatillos.
Dreamgoddess' Yummy Bacon Sweet Potatoes
Andi, hope you keep your good spirits in that mess - can't think what's worse, moving or the kitchen broken down. O well, a new kitchen sure is motivating
