We’re back again with another
Ready, Set, Cook! Special Edition. This custom version of the contest comes with some great prizes (hello, cold hard cash!) thanks to our sponsor Reynolds Wrap® Foil.
The general premise for the contest is simple! Show off your creative cooking chops by submitting up to three original recipes that feature at least four of our official contest ingredients and are made with Reynolds Wrap® Foil (that’s the special twist!). Create main dishes, appetizers, side dishes or more, and add in any other ingredients you choose! Your recipes can be sweet or savory but your dishes must serve at least 4 people and use our official ingredients. Don’t leave out the Reynolds Wrap® Foil as a creative part of preparing your dish, too!

The Prizes:
• Grand Prize: $1,500 & a Reynolds product pack
• Runner-Up Prize: $1,000 & a Reynolds product pack
• People’s Choice Prize: $500 & a Reynolds product pack
Official Contest Ingredients
This is where the challenge comes in! Your recipe(s) must feature at least four of our contest ingredients and be prepared with Foil.
Our official ingredients:
• Ground beef
• Tilapia, fresh or frozen
• Bacon
• Red bell peppers
• Fresh corn
• Grape or cherry tomatoes
• Zucchini
• Black beans
• Peaches
• Pears
• Lemon, juice or zest
• Monterey Jack cheese
• Cream cheese
• Heavy cream
• Canned biscuits
• Dark chocolate
• Almonds
• Rosemary
• Honey
Along with four required contest ingredients, you may use as many other ingredients as you like. The contest ingredients you use must be essential to the dish – meaning that if you took any one of them away, it would alter the dish and make it something different. Layman’s terms: Don’t use one of your four ingredients as a garnish!
How to Enter:
1) Create up to three original recipes that feature at least four our official ingredients (they’re listed below!) and Reynolds Wrap® Foil. The more recipes you enter, the better your chances!
2) Submit your recipe(s), separately,
HERE . Photos aren’t necessary but are great additions! (DO NOT submit your entry via our regular recipe submission form.)
3) When entering your recipe(s), please include the following in your recipe’s info:
*Add “#rsc” to the end of your recipe title. This helps us identify contest recipes.
* Add “Ready, Set, Cook! Contest Entry” to the beginning of your recipe’s description
* List “Reynolds Wrap Foil” as an ingredient
(Note: We will add these if folks forget!)
4) Share your recipe with friends for them to test, taste and review – their ratings could help you win our People’s Choice $500 community-favorite prize.

Contest Timeline
August 17- September 28:

* Make, rate and review other contest entries as they come in
September 28 - October 12:
* Recipe submissions are closed as of September 28 at 2:00 PM EST and any entries received after that will not qualify. BUT you have another two weeks to continue to share your recipe with friends for them to test, taste and rate. Or be generous and try out your competitors’ dishes – remember there’s a People’s Choice Prize!
October 12 - October 29:
Our sponsor’s guest judges will review the entries to help determine our Grand Prize and Runner Up Prize winners.
October 29:

How the Grand Prize & Runner-Up Prize Will Be Determined
The Sponsor will judge the five (5) Finalists based on the following:
1. Use of foil in preparation of the recipe - (25%)
2. Creativity - (25%)
3. Flavor and Taste - (50%)
The submission with the highest score will be the Grand Prize Winner and the submission with the second-highest score will be the Runner Up Prize Winner. In the event of a tie, ties will be broken based on the flavor and taste.
How the People’s Choice Winners Will Be Determined
Our People’s Choice Prize will go to the highest-rated recipe. We are using a points-based system to determine the highest-rated recipes. Points will be assigned to every recipe submitted based on the ratings it receives from the community. Only reviews that include a star rating and a review note will be factored in points. Reviews that clearly state someone has not made or tried the dish (i.e. “This looks good!” or “I can’t wait to make this!”) will not qualify for points. All recipes will start with 0 points. Additional points will be determined using the scale below:
For each 5 star review, 2 points will be added to a recipe’s score.
For each 4 star review, 1 point will be added to the score.
For each 3 star review, 0 points will be added to the score.
For each 2 star review, 1 point will be subtracted from the score.
For each 1 star review, 2 points will be subtracted from the score.
At the end of the contest, the recipe with the highest score will be our =Peoples' Choice Winner.
NOTE: The grand prize-winner and runner-up recipes cannot also be the People’s Choice winner. In the event that the grand prize winner or runner up prize winner are also the highest-rated recipe, the next highest-rated recipe will be awarded the People’s Choices Prize. Just trying to spread the love!
Official Rules
These are just some of the basics:
Must be a U.S. resident to be eligible to win (sorry, international members!)
Must also be 18 or over to be eligible to win.
Entrants can submit up to three recipes. Any additional recipes entered will be removed and/or disqualified. Qualifying recipes must include four official contest ingredients, Reynolds Wrap® Foil and serve at least 4.
