i understand you have to have ads, but that mccormick dinner party chain ad is making me nuts. it loads last on every single page and then it closes after a few seconds, so my page is bouncing around. surely there is a less annoying and obtrusive way to display this!

Please report this in Customer Support with information about your browser and OS. I normally use Firefox with adblock so see no popups, but otherwise a pop up ad should come up only once. CS is where to report this so they could look into it.
