    Whipping cream in advance?

    probably should have put this in the general cooking questions but here goes...

    Tomorrow evening is my daughter's birthday party. I am going to serve angel food cake with whipped cream. Can whipped cream be whipped the night before? or several hours before serving?

    Yes, you can! I've had the best luck when I add a little sour cream or yogurt at the end - about a quarter of the volume - and then it will stay really soft the next day. I love the tang of it too!
