It takes no more clicks to get your cookbooks then before - hover your cursor over the blue box next to your icon and all of your cookbooks show up in the left hand column. A different place, yes, you need to get used to it, but it's the same number of steps to get to it. I've suggested that the blue box be enlarged and labeled my food.com or something similar. I like having all of my personal info in a single place.
The recipe number was returned to just under the title quite some time ago - do you not see that?

It is still a lot easier, and there right in front of you with a big tab to have My Cookbooks right in the Nav bar. I just don't undersand the reqson for chaniging it. Perhaps if there is a clamor for putting it back there, we can get it moved back like we did with the Recipe Number? I know that was fixed, but that is another change that few of us understood at that time either. Who decides what changes need to happen?

Probably people that don't actually use the site, or cook!

The new navigation bar is more difficult for me to use, if I use my Ipad, I have to scroll over and then expand and then I land up clicking on the wrong thing. I truly wish there was an app. - please!

The app is what we have been screaming for.....but, the last time I tried to pin down where that was on the drawing board.....the answer was "maybe sometime next year.". Instead the seem to be intent on doing meaningless this just for the heck of it. Good luck on an app. Apparently, is does not matter what we want.

I like it!
I also like the more demure background wallpaper. Although that's probably been up for awhile. It is so much more easy on the eyes than from a few years ago.
You guys rock!

I can't open recipes with my ipad. I was trying to open one last night and I thought the site was down.
I agree an app is needed. Much needed. I hate my pc. It's big, heavy, puts of heat, and I can't take it with me "when I go" (shopping! I hope no one thought that I....)

I love the recipe sifter and one of my favorite categories is filter by ingredient. When I select it, I don't get a textbox to type the ingredient into.
Thanks,

This issue seems to be isolated to IE. Works fine in Firefox. We have reported. Please try Firefox in the interim.

Sorry I didn't respond more promptly. I have had the same browser version for a couple of months. This started happening within the last couple of days.
I did find a work-around. If I type a main ingredient in the main search textbox and select ingredients options I get a group of recipes with that ingredient and then can use the Narrow button to select other ingredients. I really like the ability to be able to type in less "main" ingredients to see if any recipes had them.
I think is one of the best recipe sites on the web.
Thanks again for your help,
Larry
