Hello fellow cooks! I am an eager cook and would love to participate in a cooking group or tour, I'd love to try new recipes and be part of something fun at the same time icon_biggrin.gif I understand that I may be too late for anything happening now, but perhaps next time. I am sorry for such a silly question, but I can't work out how to join icon_redface.gif . Thanks in advance, Cookingpompom (Elizabeth)

Pompom, there are many, many food tag games and contests going on on this site in addition to the annual Zaar World Tour.

What type of cooking are you interested?

Oh wow a huge THANKYOU!!!! I am very eager to get started icon_biggrin.gif . I most enjoy cooking sweet things (desserts, cakes, cookies - everything sweet, I have a bit if a sweet tooth icon_exclaim.gif ). But, I am happy to build on my skills and become a better cook for it. Thank you once again.

I have another silly question! Does it matter that I live in Australia? I don't want to tread on any toes or "mess up" a group which is location created.

It' s no problem at all where you live. Just take into consideration
the time change if you ask a question. The person you ask might be asleep. icon_wink.gif

First things first, there is an Australian forum:

    There is a dessert forum:

Not at all! International players are very welcome & add so much to the event. You'll probably be a huge asset to your team as we'll be visiting Australia during ZWT8. icon_wink.gif

Do you have room for a 100 or so guests or should I make hotel arrangements? icon_lol.gif

I didn't realise there would be an Aussie leg of the tour, I will have to look into some old family cookbooks and see what I can find. As for room, I personally don't, but - I have a large tent and my DH cooks a mean bbq - the more the merrier! I am so excited to get started with this first French/Spanish part of the tour. My hubby is in for a treat! Lucky for me, my kids eat just about anything! icon_smile.gif
