Come check out our recipes, see the places we've been and what we have learned.
ZWT8 Tour Main Thead
This Challenge showcases the Kid-friendly Cooking Forum
Start Date: 1 August 2012
End Date: 12 August 2012 deadline midnight Zaar Time
Challenge: Individual Challenge (3 players) - NON COOKING
Points: 5 points individual challenge participant
(Maximum 15 points per team awarded)
Our families and friends share our journey whilst eating our way around the world. This is a fun challenge that enables our kids to participate and join in the fun.
You can have your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, younger brothers and sisters or even a borrowed child from a neighbour or friend to help you complete this part of the challenge.
(Your budding artist should be under 17 years of age and human )
Australia and New Zealand both have a large range of unique wildlife. The most widely known for Australia would be the kangaroo and koala and for New Zealand the Kiwi.
Use the internet to research either Australia or New Zealand and have your child make a selection. Create a picture of a native Australian or New Zealand animal, bird, spider, insect or reptiles.
Color with pencils, paints or crayons, or use *any* thing around your kitchen.
Scan a copy of your masterpiece or take a photo of it and post it to this thread.
(You will need to upload your photo or scanned artwork from your PC to an image hosting website first)
XXXXXXXXXXXX

Good Afternoon,
My grandchildren will be over this next week and I am hoping that both will participate in drawing pictures. My grandson, Chance, is 11 and my granddaughter, Cheyenne, is 8. Don't let the ages fool you, I'm a really young grandmother! Well, at least young at heart!
Thanks,
Nancy

 Hi Pan Nan and Nancy
Will be lovely to see all the entries
The kids challenge from last years tour was my favourite challenge.
Here's the link to last year's challenge
http://www.food.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=356763&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
The rules state 3 players per team, but you can 'lend'a child to another team member if you wish. Provided the entries are shown -one submitted by you and another submitted by a team mate.
I know some of the teams are struggling to find three children to help.
Of course though, we are happy to see as many kids have fun and always happy to see extra entries
-Julie
