I have developed a list of British chefs for our ZWT travellers to help them in their challenge (as best as I can discern all are British born though some with a different ethnic heritage and some have immigrated to another country when young). The links I have provided are mainly to give you some of their recipes but I have also tried to choose ones that give you some information about the chef/cook. Hope you enjoy you time in Celebrity Chefs and Famous Cooks and please feel free to join us at any time. Also please note that many of these chefs are not on our CCAFC list but I will be endeavouring to add them as soon as I can.

... I'll be doing this challenge for the Chefs Gone Wild, have chosen Heston Blumenthal as my celebrity chef & am looking forward to our collaboration. icon_smile.gif

... I have 1 question to clarify. May I assume that recipes selected for the menu &/or the recipe made & reviewed DO NOT NEED to be selected from the All Players Cookbook icon_question.gif The challenge details do not say that, so my assumption is right icon_question.gif .. or .. wrong icon_question.gif

ZWT88888888888888888We Won!! How lucky are we

    zwtThe won!!

One week vacation to Great Britain and a Tour of London with our favourite Great Britain/Ireland Celebrity Chef.
After Wrestling with so many wonderful chefs
we chose the one and only Beautiful British Deva Nigella Lawson from the capital of England!

Not only is she a Cooking Goddess but she is an English food writer, journalist and broadcaster.

We celebrated with glasses of our team drink Lively Lemon Gin Tonic

Admitting to Nan that she feels she is not a celebrity chef.
But she isn't kidding us. In our book she is a "Celebrity Chef"
She emphasises that she cooks for her own pleasure, for enjoyment, and that she finds cooking therapeutic just like Buzymomof3 Judy does.

OK! So lets Turn it on!

We tour her birth place of London where the
    Olympics took place.

We swing over to the Tower of London

Despite the Tower of London's grim reputation as a place of torture and death, within these walls you will also discover the history of a royal palace, an armoury and a powerful fortress. Don’t miss Royal Beasts! Learn about the wild and wondrous animals that have inhabited the Tower throughout its history.
Mia enjoyed the priceless Crown Jewels, Jumped into join a ‘Beefeater’ tour and hear their bloody tales, stand where famous heads have rolled, Choco learned of the legend of the Tower's ravens, storm the battlements and try your hand at siege weapons* in the moat, get to grips with swords and armour and much more! Karen got so excited she started fencing like she was gold winner Elisa Di Francisca

We took a short break at the

for Champagne afternoon tea on the London Eye.

Already offering unrivalled views of London, the bespoke cinematic addition to the EDF Energy London Eye provides another magical and entertaining way to experience our capital city. , Genevieve ("Magpie") couldn`t wait to put on her 3-d glasses for the aerial footage of London as well as witness the the Olympic fireworks in a breathtaking journey across the city. Boasting more 4D sensory effects than any other attraction in the UK, with wind in your hair, snow falling at your feet, the floor shaking and even a sense of smell, your new perspective on London was truly memorable.

the next day we Cycled to
    Hyde park
London’s largest ever street music competition, The Big Busk sees young musicians and singers from across the capital performing in iconic venues for your pleasure – Cadillacgirl aka Shannon got us all moving on our feet. We were so good we must have •Gymnastics blood in our veins.

We cheered Satyne - Cass on as she did a •Triathlon to the Next stop

The British Museum where they have

At the Museum Exhibition we discovered what London was like in Shakespeare's day. Enjoyed it so much Nigella took us on to see Shakespeare's Birthplace is a restored 16th-century half-timbered house situated in Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, where it is believed that William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and spent his childhood years. It is now a small museum open to the public and a popular visitor attraction, owned and managed by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. It has been referred to as "a Mecca for all lovers of literature".

Sweet endings with a stop to see a model of herself

I wll make her Cranberry-Studded Mincemeat by Nigella Lawson because it is studded with sweetness just like her.
    (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
As the lovelies say thanks for their unforgettable Gold of a time.
    Cheerio wave.gif

Made All I have to say is I got a gold with this Cranberry-Studded Mincemeat by Nigella Lawson from our Lovelies meal with Nigella Lawson

I will be doing this challenge for the team and I pick The Two Fat Ladies.
We are going to have soooooooooo much fun.

I am assuming that I can pretend that they are both still alive or do I have to stay 'real' for that bit?
