Thanks! IM OBSESSED. I'm going back to Korean BBQ tomorrow. LOL. And here I thought Korean BBQ was unfriendly towards vegetarians. The noodles are so unique and delicious!

I did at my favorite neighborhood Asian mart - I've now made this a few times. But then again, I live in the heart of Los Angeles with Asian markets abound! A quick image search for dangmyeon will give you an idea of what the packaging looks like (and a lot of yummy japchae photos!)

We have several Asian markets around here and two that are really well-stocked. I'll Google what the noodles look like then try to hunt them down. The largest Asian market in town is owned by a Korean family so they'll know what I'm asking about...
