I live in Abilene, KS, right in the middle of the state. Hoping to hear from a bunch of people from this area so that maybe we can all meet up someday! Wouldn't that be fun!

Gee, maybe we should all get together in KC. I think that would be a rather central point for all of us. Maybe more of us will report in!!!

Hi Erin! Haven't seem you much since you got married.

And for anyone who doesn't know - KC would work great for me - I live by their airport.

I figured you would be all for that idea. KC would actually work great for me, I could make it a day trip and not have to spend alot of money.

Sly just pointed this thread out to me, somehow I missed it! I'm in Springfield, Missouri.

MG, are you close to the airport in North KC? I have a very good friend who lives in Smithville and works over by the airport. Can't remember the name of the company....she's a manager at a travel agency.

For Erin - my hubby is a Mizzou alumni - he has very fond memories of Columbia! icon_wink.gif

I haven't been on a lot, I just posted the first recipe in months about a week ago! I might be "escaping" here for awhile, I was just informed that my Dad moved out of my parents house and I need a little distraction.

I think an August meeting would be a lot of fun!
