Over the past year, we have been making up French fries past the first fry stage, and freezing them for a quick addition to a meal.
We'd love to be able to do the same with onion rings. I've tried a couple recipes, without great success. I'd like to find a recipe that's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and especially one that we can make up to a certain point in advance, and portion up meal-sized for the freezer. I have to figure it can be done since I'm pretty sure restaurants do it.
Any recipes or advice?

Restaurants buy them, already and frozen. But f you make then at home I would fully cook them before freezing. Every summer I say I am going to make onion rings but I never do. I will come on later and post the recipe I use for zucchini sticks, I now that batter freezes fine. I cant go it now as I am on my phone and it is a pain to try snd post links. And my alarm is sbout to go off.
