[Molly53]

Vincent Price wrote a couple of high culture cookbooks in the 60s. A Treasury of Great Recipes, Come into the Kitchen.

Vincent Schiavelli wrote Many Beautiful Things and won a James Beard Award for it. Also magazine articles.

Dom Deluise had Eat This Too, Eat This Again, Father Orsini's Italian Kitchen and probably some others.

From about 1964 through 1975 there was a series of newspaper articles called "Celebrity Cookbook".

Google has archived old newspapers. Here are links to many of those articles where celebrities of the time are interviewed about the foods they like and cook. Also included are their recipes in the articles.

Probably for copyright reasons you can copy or print the articles. Maybe you can do a print screen, I haven't tried that. I just resort to typing out the recipes.

There's a cookbook called

Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah

by Dinah Shore that has her recipes and a lot of her celebrity friends recipes. She had a cooking segment on her old tv show. She wrote 2 other books but this one is the best in my opinion.

There's also an old cookbook called

"Pearl's Kitchen"
by Pearl Bailey which has her favorite recipes and recipes from famous friends of hers.
Other celebrities who have published cookbooks include Mo'Nique, Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle has several.

Doris Roberts has a memoir called "Are you Hungry, Dear" that has several recipes in it, I think it's one for each chapter. But it's mostly a memoir.

I used to watch the Dinah Shore show back in the day. I remember one episode where she and Loretta Lynn canned green beans using a method that wouldn't fly these days.

I suspect there should have been someone educated in foods helping her, both with the show and with her cookbook.
