Acadia needs a tag, her lovely recipes are getting an inferiority complex. We all love recipes here and don't want any of them to be unhappy. Plus, you get to eat the yummy little darlings.

It is because it is hard to go through them when not many fit this game NA*ME

I had no idea as to where pistachio nuts originated from - scroll down link for history of the pistachio. Of course some participants probably already knows this trivia, but I thought others would be interested:

UmmBinat - Do I want raw pistachios for the milk?

No worries, I understand. If any have alcohol in them, you can certainly omit that ingredient. Of course there is the nutmeg issue too which you can sub out for something else too. I'm easy going. Just mention in the review that you omitted those ingredients to work for your dietary needs.

I was referring to them not fitting into North African Middle Eastern cuisine. There is non Muslims in the middle east too so many some alcohol nutmeg may even fit!

CookGirl invited me to play. I'm sure she knew that my recipes didn't fit the profile lol. I guess I will have to post some. I do have access to some, it may take a bit since I post recipes in my spare time. Lol. So the tag doesn't get held up by my non NA*ME recipes, I give you all permission to skip me and I won't play again until I get some appropriate recipes posted.

Your more than welcome to stay, in fact I hope that you do. Most of the players here aren't Muslim and don't mind some wine or nutmeg. If you would like to add some recipes that would fit the restrictions of some of our players that would be fine (and give us all more recipes to tag ). However it not required.
I was originally invited to play by UmSafia and she told me that anything went except pork and alcohol.

yes, no NA/ME regional recipes are ok for Ramadan Tag.
How about this.....work with what Acadia has for a cb until I get beck then I will work with her to develop/edit a NA/ME cookbook.
perhaps Eggplant Fritters, Super Easy: Zucchini Side Dish, Pop Pop's Roast Leg of Lamb will do for now?
*ACADIA* think of what you would submit to ZWT for a NA/ME cookbook. What you want are recipes typical of the region. Check out other's NA/ME cookbooks for inspiration.
