Pepperpot is a user friendly dish. You can substitute pork, beef, chicken or shrimp because the native population included what ever was available that day, and in the tradition of this dish it is appropriate for you to do the same. You can also experiment by adding Caribbean spices or non-indigenous spices like clove, thyme, or garlic. Coconut adds a nice twist to this dish as well.

    Pepperpot
    Chicken Pepperpot Soup Disney's Boma
    Trinidad Pepperpot Beef
    Authentic Trinidad Pepperpot
    Cherokee Pepperpot Soup
    Pepperpot Beef and Orange Stew
    Fungie and Pepperpot
    Travelers' Pepperpot
    Caribbean Pepperpot
    Cream of Chicken Pepperpot

As you can see, lots of variations. Give one a try!

Yay Dad! I love these types of dishes. I've narrowed it down to 3. icon_wink.gif No guarantee I'll get all 3 made, tho! Although 1 is beef, 1 chicken & 1 pork so actually it's quite possible especially since afterschool activities are winding down. oh yeah!
