    Hi Andi wave.gif

Tomorrow there will be a Schuetzenfest of one of the many small hamlets here, and a friend of ours is the queen of marksmen:

(the lady in the golden dress is our friend)

The party will take place on her estate (a former farm, now they only have some sheep). Let's pray for good weather, it very much looks like rain and thunderstorm!

    Looks like fun!

It is, as long as you drink enough to keep up with the dropping level of sense in the conversations icon_lol.gif

Hope you had a great day at the pool! HOW fun can that be? icon_smile.gif Boat loads of course! That chicken sounds drool worthy!!

Bethie, did I understand you just taught a riding class? OMG, I didn't know you did that?! I could use you!! Since Belle fell yesterday, I feel as though I just plain don't want to ride, it's so hard being older, and knowing the stuff that goes on, and I don't feel like breaking anything. LOL

Andi, don't get too excited! Use me for what? I can teach beginners & basics - no fine tuning an experienced rider for me!!

That said, Belle falling had nothing to do with your riding. No way & no how. Just like when people (like me) fall off & break something, the best thing to do is get back on.

Oh, I'm not a fine tuned rider for sure! By the grace of GOD I didn't fall off rotfl.gif Yesterday, poor PT had a huge splinter in his neck that the vet had to take out, I had to hold PT, after giving him a couple of drug cocktails and a twitch, (which he HATED) we finally got it out. My poor babies icon_sad.gif

That's so cool you do this, Bethie! I never knew....what a wonderful thing to make youngster's feel confident about riding..I can't seem to find the right instructor down here.

Hello all. I am now back home in El Paso. We have had some kind of adventure. I left home on the 31st. We had Grandma's weekend in Atlanta the 31st through the 4th. Eric arrived on the 4th and the whole crew packed up and drove in AL.

After a couple of days in AL and a little house hunting we returned to GA. Only to turn around and drive back to TN on the 11th and 12th for house hunting. On the 13th DH, DD, SIL and GD1 and 2 packed up and went to Lake Lure, NC. NC is a beautiful place. Lake Lure is in the mountains and the weather was in the low 80's.

Father's Day found us once again driving to TN to look at a couple of more houses. Well on the 18th we made an offer on a house and on the 19th the negotations were done and we signed a contract. We will be closing on the house in TN on July 30.

The prospect of 2 houses is a little frightening. One paid for the other not. So anybody want to send prayers or positive thoughts are way please do so. We would really like to sell this house soon.

I have missed you guys and look forward to doing some cooking in the next several weeks. I have got to clean out the freezer!
