Our spring has calmed down and it's really nice. We are here in California for a while but will be going back to Idaho to check up on my Mom and the daughter that had back surgery then going up to see DH's Mom who is 93 and lives in Seattle, Wa. We will go back to celebrate my daughters (angels) twin girls 7th birthday the end of July then back for more relaxation in California. Hope everything is fine with everyone. (sorry about the long history). While in Idaho we will be having some BBQ's.

I have made PaulaG#133174 Health Nut Brown Rice#90059 to go along with Panfried Fish#392155 by Para_chan#311484, I didn't tag these the Garden Party but they made a terrific meal along with a green salad! icon_biggrin.gif

Oh mama smurf this is wonderful to hear that things have quieted down for you and your family. It seems like it's always something isn't it? Your mom and my dad are the same age! I am so proud of my dad! He still works full time. What kinda of a party are you having for your twins?

Your recipes sound lovely! I am going to update now....icon_smile.gif

Thank you for asking and updating (except I have made the first two recipes but not the mushrooms or the halibut creole yet). The party for the twins will be a "7th" birthday/BBQ. For the food I'm not sure what yet but will let you know. Everyone have a great week!

Congratulation for this wonderful thread, this looks really attractive and I love how you keep your fans together.

I still have some apples from our garden since last September. This morning I tried to find a new apple tarte or pie from my friends here in dhe diabetic cooking.
Well, I found a new one icon_eek.gif , and incredible and unreviewed one. Sorry it is not diabetic at all icon_sad.gif , but irresistible icon_rolleyes.gif. Too irresistible !
    It's Mia's Apple-Wine Tart #363141!
Now it's already in the oven... 90 minutes waiting... then...noooo icon_confused.gif , should it really rest overnight? This will be a real challange!
