She is going to be in St Catharines. He is going to stay with us for a bit, then will look for an apartment close to her. The NH she is going to is actually a big community, with apartments available in the same complex, so that may be an option for him.

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that I now have the Global Apron #3 in my possession. Will have it with me until after I meet up with a few Ontario gals in Toronto on August 1st. If anyone wants to send me a patch or pin to add to the apron or would like to join us for lunch, then just zmail me.

Ha! I posted in the old thread, Doh! I've been out of pocket a while as I've been swamped with household repairs and remodeling for two bloomin' years! I am beginning to think that maybe it's not so wise to buy a house. It is an on-going maintenance issue, and I'd rather have that money to travel. But it's good that I've had the house and various projects to keep me busy.
It sure is fun to see your photos and recognize some faces and hear what you're all up to. One of these days I'll mosey on up to Toronto, again. Now, I've just gotten back from a conference and I'll soon be heading north into New Mexico to visit my daughter and her family in that beautiful area.

Hi Stella, houses are always fully of jobs to do, great thing is that its all yours and your building equity.
Sounds like you are keeping busy, enjoy your trip to your daughters. Look forward to seeing you again the next time you are up. You know that was the first time I was actually on the Maid of the Mist since I was a kid. Usually avoid Niagara Falls when tourist season is on

Hi there! I have fond memories of that trip to that beautiful area and the fun we had. I had never been to Niagra Falls, so it was quite an experience for me and I really enjoyed it. Remember that quaint little town with all the shops? I can almost remember the name . . . ...
But I do remember an incident in the casino. Toolie decided to play the slot machine, and she was having so much fun that I decided to take a picture of her. A security guard suddenly appeared out of nowhere and admonished me politely but sternly about shooting pictures in the casino. I just wasn't thinking, and I meant no harm. He knew that, but nevertheless, he watched me closely as we all walked out of the casino. Don't mess with the law!
