    What am I doing wrong re this recipe

    13.7 grams protein
    23.4 grams carbs

    4 serves

    I tweaked it for 1 serve, halved almost all the ingredients, used 1 tortilla and the nutrition values have gone even higher re carbs

    1 tomato , seeded and diced
    1/2 avocado , diced
    1 tablespoon red onion , chopped
    1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
    1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
    1/8 cup sour cream
    1 tablespoon fresh cilantro , chopped
    1 flour tortilla
    1/4 teaspoon vegetable oil
    1 cup cheese , coarsely grated

    It's your serving size. The original recipe uses two tortillas per quesadilla and then cuts each into 8 pieces, yielding 16 servings. Too little to me, but as a side would work.

    I would think yielding 16 servings would be too small too

    I used the mini tortillas and cut them into four...so how would I be able to figure out the mini ones to the big ones to make sure the protein is higher than the carbs

    All I can suggest Mickie, is to read the label information and work from that. What's mini here as opposed to what you have is too tricky for me to extrapolate without the data.If you ate the meal as a salad and left off the tortillas then it would be easy to figure out what adding them in would do to the numbers.
