I have a recipe for an oatmeal bread that calls for either molasses or date honey. I found a recipe for date honey, but was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on the flavor. Does it have the strong flavor of molasses?

It tastes a little bit like molasses, but sweeter. I always keep a jar of silan in the house, it's great for roasting chicken.
