Some recent recipes that I have made, some of them from last month and just getting around to sharing.
I have saved a lot of recipes from this forum and I hope that I can always pay it forward icon_biggrin.gif

My photo of this baked potato does not do the recipe justice. It is a must, if you have the time... Awesome!

    Bird's Perfect Baked Potatoes

Another recipe that I enjoyed, after deciding that cooking whole chickens, large or small, will not intimidate me! icon_lol.gif
    Easy Cornish Game Hens

The wonderful green fried tomato! I made this to go with a fairly recent chicken wing recipe. How could such a wonderful recipe elude a person that grew up in the south? I was old enough to have grandkids before I discovered this treat!
    Fried Green Tomatoes II

I discovered at one of the local grocers recently, fresh green beans at a bargain price. I bought a pound and this is what I made with them. Ummm good!

    Yes, stunning!!!! icon_eek.gif

The inside of that potato is the stuff of dreams -- you caught that incredibly well in the photo.

The chicken -- what can I say? I do not see how any professional food photographer could get a better shot of a roast chicken. The golden light on that chicken is simply amazing, and I don't know how you did that.

Sloe cooker, thanks for the pleasure it gave me -- I think us all -- to slowly scroll through these photos!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Debbwl, I have a 18 oz hen thawing out in the fridge right now that I will cook tomorrow, just can't decide if I want to use the same recipe or try another. Think I will try another, it's too much fun to review new recipes icon_eek.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Becky, Thanks for your fine compiments!! I will trade you half of my next chicken for a bowl of your delicious soup!!

Zurie, I didn't think the potato photo turned out very well, but I thank you for saying such nice things about it! The chicken was mildly edited for lighting issues. Thanks Zurie!!

Sloe cooker, you MAY edit your photos!!

A bad photo cannot be edited to look good. A promising photo can be slightly improved. A blurred photo cannot really be put into focus!

I know wonderful things can apparently be done with Photoshop, which I do not have ...

Editing Contrast, Sharpness, and those basic edits never count against you. It is when it is overdone that you can actually spoil the original photo.

    You did none of those.

That would be fine. But one of us is doing some driving for the exchange. LOL. I don't think my soups would hold up in shipping. I have seen what UPS and the USPS can do to a package. LOL
