I fixed the order of the ingredients, also used bahrat spice mix because the other one is pretty spicy for us anyway, and I added some tomato paste. I think that was all. Make sure you salt the beef well. Or are you using lamb? I could tell lamb would be more delicious. I simmered a long time to make sure the stewing beef was tender. That's it.

Oh and garnish with cilantro or parsley and lemon slices.

thanks. I'm using beef. i think i'll stick with the original spice this time because we like it spicy. or if your change comes through, I'll look & decide later.

thanks. I'm using beef. i think i'll stick with the original spice this time because we like it spicy. or if your change comes through, I'll look & decide later.
I meant I use some of both spice mixes

Squeezing the loomi a bit and getting rid of them from the dish is exactly what I do as they have already given their flavour
