    New pasta machine recommendations

I've started to make my own pasta & I bought a cheapy machine which doesn't cut spaghetti very well, although the fettuccini cutters are fine. But I enjoy doing it so much that I would like to buy a better machine. I don't have a KA mixer, I have a Cuisinart, but I've read the reviews & don't think that's what I should buy.
Any good recommendations? I'd love to hear from those of you with more experience than I have, what features do you feel are worth paying for?
    TIA! GG

I would love the KA attachment...but DH is not fond of pasta.....I know and I married him anyhow....
In the basement I have an old Ron Popeil pasta maker....with 26 attachments...rotfl.gif
Years ago (probably 15) I thought I had to have it icon_redface.gif
Now I would like to buy a hand crank one...and get back to basics....
have you ever thought of doing it that way???

That's what I was wanting, was a recommendation for a hand crank one. I don't have a KA, I have the Cuisinart & I have read the reviews, they are not good.
The pasta maker I have is a cheapy one that the handle falls out of at least 10 times while I'm making pasta & the cutters don't cut spaghetti, they just sort of squish the dough.
I cross posted on CC as well as here & Dib's was able to set me on the track for finding a good one. She recommends the "Pasta Queen" I am going to see if I can find it here, if not, I will order it off ebay. thanks for replying. GG
