This all comes out because of autism we had a parent whos child refused to eat seafood (sny tyoe) but if you called it snapper, flathead etc (fish)., oysters and mussels are bivalvles and crabs, lobsters etc. are crustaceans - worked a treat and he ate quite happily eat his meal, just as long as as there was no mention of seafood, fish, crab and such - hopefully you get the gist.

Got another one for you - recently talking to a mum whos young DD has autism and has decided she no longer will eat white meat, so suggested to mum that she tells the DD (who is into jewelery and loves her bling) that it was pearl meat - result worked a treat and now DD is eating chicken, fish etc with gusto.

Thanks Peggy but had a Physc disagree with my train of thought and suggestions labelling it has deceptive and my reply was well if it gets them to eat balanced meals I don't think most parents would give a sh_t.

Go to talks and tips and hover over until the drop-down appears. Then there's a line on the far right for 'all our forums'. Good luck.
