HI. I hope someone is able to help me. I'm looking for a recipe for hamburger stroganoff using cream of mushroom soup found in the Better Homes and Gardens Ground Meat Cookbook. I lost my copy of the book and would like this quick and easy recipe.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hamburger Stroganoff (Better Homes & Gardens)
    1 – 1 ½ lb ground beef
    ½ C. onion, chopped
    ¾ t. salt
    Dash pepper
    1 C sour cream
    3 slices bacon, diced
    1 ½ T flour
    ¼ t paprika
    1 can mushroom soup
    Noodles & poppy seeds
Place ground beef and bacon in skillet. Cook and stir until beef is browned. Add onion and cook just until tender. Spoon off excess fat. Blend flour and seasonings into meat. Stir in soup. Cook, uncovered at 220 (electric skillet) or simmer in regular pan for 15-20 minutes, stirring often. Stir in sour cream; heat. Serve over cooked noodles tossed with poppy seeds.

    Hi Krew,
Thanks for posting your recipe. It would be best if you added your recipe to the database (http://www.food.com/members/subm/editr2) for several reasons.....
    - the forums/threads are not "searchable"
    - the recipe will become lost once this thread drops off the first page
    - others will not be able to try and enjoy your recipe or leave reviews

    (edited to correct link)
