Food.com. It's the perfect place to try out all those recipes so come join in with your Food.com friends

Rules for jumping into the Holiday game:
1. Find out who is "IT".

2. Tag one of their recipes that you have not previously reviewed (doesn't matter how many times the recipe has been reviewed by others)

3. Tagging the same recipe in multiple games is not allowed. But this does not prevent players from using their tags for the Photo Forum or special events in other forums.

4. Make & review that recipe within two weeks from the date of your tag. When you chose to tag someone’s recipe, you are committing to making that recipe and reviewing it within 2 weeks (14 days). We realize life sometimes does get in the way of our cooking/tagging, so if you aren’t going to be able to meet the 2 week deadline, please ask us for a additional 2 week extension. Players will be put on the Restricted List once they have passed the 4 weeks (28 days) deadline, unless they have special circumstances. If you feel you have a special circumstance preventing you from completing a tag within 4 weeks, please contact the game host. Once on the Restricted List, you will no longer be able to participate in any of the games or events in the “Cooking Games with Friends Forum” until you have made and reviewed any recipes that have you on that list. This is done in order to keep it fair for all players in the games.

5. Report back to this thread to say you've made the recipe so we can update the "completed"!

March is national celery month and as celery has become a common staple in many homes. When choosing celery be sure it looks crisp and snaps easily when pulled apart. The leaves should be pale to bright green in color and free from yellow or brown patches.

There are several ways to store celery in the refrigerator to prolong its freshness. Cut and trimmed celery sticks for snacks will stay fresh for about a week in a resealable bag. Store whole celery bunches in sealable plastic bags for 2 weeks. Put a dampened paper towel in the bag and change it every 2 days. Trim the celery and immerse it in water, either in a standing container or a flat shallow tray. Refrigerated celery stored this way will last 2 to 3 weeks, with weekly water changes. Specially developed green refrigerator produce bags will extend the life of your refrigerated celery to 4 weeks. These bags slow down the emission of gases from vegetables, helping them stay edible longer. Do not wash the celery before storing, or add any water to the bags.

One of the most loved cookies of all time is celebrated the second week of March, it is the Chocolate Chip Cookie.

The Chocolate chip cookie is a drop cookie that was accidentally developed by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1930 and is distinguished by its featured chocolate chips. Traditional recipes combine butter, brown sugar and white sugar with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
