It did fall (will work on that) While cooling but my daughter likes it so I'm happy with that. I used baking powder and lemon juice in place of the yeast and it rose just fine.

SO, we are happy with the results. next time I will cut down on the lemon juice. I'm thinking 1 Tablespoon baking powder to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice as it was "tart" bread. Edible but "tart".

My daughter can't have vinegar so I subbed lemon juice for the yeast and the vinegar called for in the recipe. That was a mistake on my part.

I am thinking this would be a good bread for the bread machine. I'm still working on it and will tweak to our liking but I'm not as intimidated and I know I will get better.

Not too shabby for my first attempt. Sorry I have no pics but maybe next time.
