Why am I still a "newbie"? I have been on the site for 10 years. I also cannot get anything to save when I fill out information about myself on my account. (Home town, favorite foods, a bit about myself, etc.) Was just wondering. Thanks!

The chef designation beneath your name is a reflection on your posting activity in the forums. The more you post, the faster the designation will change up until you achieve "groupie" status. icon_smile.gif

Thanks! Also...how can I update the information I enter about myself on my page and get it to save. I have typed it in 4 different times and each time it isn't there when I go back and view my page.

Are you clicking the Save Changes button (blue) towards the bottom of the screen?

This is likely a query for the Customer Support person~

If you happen to be using IE8 or IE9 on your computer, make sure your compatibility view is clicked. It's been solving a myriad of problems for other members.

Click on the image near the webaddress line that looks like a torn piece of paper.

If you cannot see the icon, click on TOOLS, then COMPATIBILITY VIEW.

If that does not help, please let the staff know what browser (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc) and version your machine uses. If you don't know, click on HELP (if it's not the word, then it will be a question mark icon), then scroll down to and click on ABOUT...... (in this example, it's INTERNET EXPLORER) which will tell you which version your machine uses.

    OR

    THEN

Knowing which browser and version is a key piece of information the staff need to be able to help solve problems effectively.

All profile updates go through moderation for approval. If approved, your profile will update to the site. If rejected, you will get a notice advising why. When did you make the updates and I will be happy to take a look on the backend and see what happened?

Honestly I don't remember, it was sometime in early or mid February. I can go in and try to update again if that would be easiest.

Yes, please try again. If you are still experiencing issues, we will need to know your browser and version to help us troubleshoot.
