not sure what to remove so this quote isn't so long....fairly positive i'd mess it up horribly so i'll just carry on.

about a million years ago (1989) I was accepted to be a counselor at an International YMCA in Toledo, Spain. I was at camp for 2 weeks then had a 2 week Eurail pass that I took from Madrid to Barcelona, Milan, & OMG I don't remember exactly where I went!! Switzerland & beyond.... regardless, the next year I purchased a 3 week railpass, flew into Helsinki & worked my way down to Athens then flew to Heathrow then JFK. Really, I could spend my LIFE traveling around Europe. I did get back to Madrid the 2nd year & met up with a friend that I had met here in the states when he was an exchange student. He's from Malaga, Spain. I would sooo love to find him again!!

also, i have made, enjoyed & reviewed Battered Chicken Tapas With Honey and Mustard ( Pollo Rebozado) & Spanish Potato Salad. icon_biggrin.gif

Oh wow, that sounds heavenly indeed! I LOVE travelling and the good thing about doing it here in Europe is that all the countries are so close. You can pass three or four a day easily. icon_biggrin.gif If you ever make your way over here again, dont forget to tell me and Im sure well find a place to meet up. icon_biggrin.gif

Ill get your completions noted now. They sound yummy! yummy.gif

    Good Morning everyone! wave.gif

I hope you all had a great start to the new week and are enjoying the days! icon_smile.gif Do you have any plans for the upcoming weekend? Im going to visit a friend from school, who lives about a 2 hour train ride from my home. The plan so far is to play board games and catch up on things. icon_biggrin.gif Maybe I can find a nice snack with honey that I could bring for nibbling. Any suggestions?
