Hi awalde
That looks all so wonderful!
Is it the Morgestraich that will take place in 10 days? I seem to recall that it's Monday after Ashen Wednesday. Although I've lived so close to Basel for more than 20 years, I've never been there for the Morgestraich. Must be quite an event!
Have a nice Saturday!

Exacly! The next 3 days I will work 150% at least and on Thursday and Friday I'll travel to my mother in Lugano. My husband will reach us by train (he will let the car at his working place).
On Monday morning early we'll travel, bing my husband direct to work and myself at work. The children will have to go home (from my working place) by train. In the evening I will go home by car (with the luggageI) and my husband wtih the other car. Crazy!
No Morgenstraich in this case.
Now here is warmer, snow has gone and this morning I saw the first crocus! More than 20°C warmer at once!

Now that's really crazy! Hope you're going to have a good time at your mother's. I guess life is very different for her now after your father passed away. She'll be happy to have you around!

Good morning everyone. You would think that being retired I would have more time. Wrong I'm really wondering how I had time to work. I have done some good cooking in the last couple of days. These were thanks to Newest Zaar Tag in the Cooking with Friends Forum.

Told ya! It's the craziest time in my life, and although I am not retired, Paula, you would expect that I would have enough time, but I don't. It's amazing. Time marches on each day, and boy, it's a great time! Enjoy!
And your photos are just so lovely, I am in awe.

Hi there, mama smurf! I made, and reviewed those Packet Potatoes, and they were grand, weren't they? I have also thrown them in my wood stove, and cooked them there in mid-winter.
YUM, I must try Pan-Fried Chicken- Schnitzel Style too!

Good morning all. I had a small dinner party last night. A wonderful time to spend with friends. Today DH and I are going to the community playhouse and then out to dinner. We are celebrating our 33 years together.
Andi, retirement is wonderful. There is so much I want to do and you are so right each day marches on.
I will be popping in and out today. Have a great one!

Thanks Andi! Missed you too! I'm only getting back to cooking slowly since my DH now went on a business trip (wish we had coordinated our trip times better!). Have a great morning on the farm!

Hi Paula. That looks devine!! I absolutely love that type of meal. Unfortunately, my DH doesn't like rice so I usually serve it on the side. I might just have to make an exception for that recipe!
Ohhhh I just saw the artichokes! I have to make this!
