I came to this site in 2004, posted a few recipes and did some looking around. It took a while for me to get up the nerve to post in the forums. I think my first forum post was in Newest Zaar Tag. I found wonderful recipes and one of my recipes got reviewed. I remember the thrill of my first review. After finding that game I ventured out to others. At some point the games were moved to Cooking Games With Friends. Now over 3,000 reviews later I still frequent the games.
Not long after finding the site I also discovered Ready Set Cook (RSC). If your not familiar with it check out Cooking Contests & Events. At the top of that forum Susie D has a wonderful link to all the happenings in the forums. A lot has changed since then. The site has really grown and there are so many wonderful games. A lot of time and thought goes into the games and events.
One of the things I work to do is find healthy recipes that will meet our dietary requirements. February is American Heart Month. In honor of games and all the wonderful work that goes into them come and show us what your cooking and help us find heart healthy recipes.
This is a little different from our normal game. When posting your recipe choice if it is from one of the many games, please post a link to the event. If you haven't previously played tag games it is okay. Feel free to tag recipes here and share how your cooking healthy.
If you are one of the very talented food photographers don't forget to post your wonderful photos in Food Photos Forum.

If you have already played a tag game then you know how this works. If this is your first venture into the fun of recipe tagging let me tell you that it's easy, fun. All you do is find a recipe that you would like to make. Remember we are looking for healthy and healthy is very dependent upon individual needs and diet. You'll have until the end of the month to report back to us here in this thread. Thats all!
To tag please follow this format:
TAGGING FORM:
I want to remind everyone of the requested tagging form. Please include all on the following info when tagging and reporting.
Tagging:
Recipe-#xxxxxx #xxxxxx by Chef X's
(remember to add the recipe number a second time)
Reporting In:
Tagged
Recipe-#xxxxxx #xxxxxx by Chef X
(remember to add the recipe number a second time)
is done and share a little something about your history and traditions or those special memories of seasons past.
Tagging will begin on February 1st and go through February 29tht. The thread will remain open for a few days after that to give everyone a chance to wrap up their reviewing and completion reports. You are welcome to tag as many recipes as you can complete in the allotted time frame of this event.
Please know that you may join in at any time during the event and that chat is certainly allowed. We look forward to having you join us.

Hi Paula, I'm home now. The winter came today, finally!
I's snowing here and we need warming food. Yesterday we had JackieOhNo!'s Puree of Butternut Squash Soup #295084
The rosemary and the bay leaf were covered with a thick film of snow. They are bot Mediterannean plants, but they stand the cold pretty well.

Sweetie that soup looks so wonderful. The colors and presentation are amazing. I have Greek oregano in my garden that withstands the colder temperatures.

Hi, I'm here again to report a new soup for you!
Ms*Bindy Bulgarian Tomato Dumpling Soup #134492 Very warming for these cold days and very healthy! I sent my son to pick up some parsley that we keep under the glas in the garden! How nice to have fresh herbs at home!

Oh awalde! How lovely! What a great son to take on the task of getting fresh parsley! It is a wonderful thing indeed to have herbs growing all year around. We have a greenhouse, and it's nice to have basil, rosemary, chives, parsley, and thyme growing 24/7!

Hello friends. What a nice idea for the month, Paula! I hope everyone is doing well. Awalde, those look like wonderful soups!
I made a few tags over in the Austrailia/New Zealand area. Every month they do a very laid back recipe swap. You get put into a group of 4 or 5 and just have to choose one recipe from each of your swap mates, to be due at the end of the month. I have played over there for a long time, almost every month. Here are my tags, 2 are healthy and 1 isn't as healthy - but I'm posting that one too because I think it would still fit for diabetics.
