We are staying home, so no need for lots of food, but as it's supposed to be quite cold, I am thinking of making this
Chileatole - Green Chile Soup With Corn (Slow Cooker) - I think it would be good to sip throughout the day. Brats have been requested and I have some frozen BBQ ribs for good measure....

DH has to work but they are thinking it will be an early quitting time. Wings are one of his favorites and I havent made any in a long time. Would be so easy to put them in the crock pot and throw together some potato salad.
Great idea Red! I have a couple recipes that I think might be yummy.......
Texas Goulash
Sausage Soup
Smoky Chicken and Cheesy Potato Casserole
Prospector's Stew
Vegetarian Spaghetti

Ladies,
I checked out each of those recipes and they all look terrific! I especially want to try the Texas goulash (raised in Texas and fed on Mom's "goulash") and the green chile and corn dish. It's got my kind of chiles in it.

I'm making JackieOhNo's
Mulligatawny Soup With Pliaf in the crock pot this weekend. I've made it several times now & we always enjoy it.
Other recipes I would recommend are:
